CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES
As a part of an airport expansion project, an international infrastructure group was looking for new ways to display information, report and analyse data.
Assystem was commisionned to support the planning and control function for this highly complex project and to improve the client's BIM maturity and capability.
Assytem's team provides expert advice for the development of the contractual programme whithin a tight 2-month timescale. They also developed a detailed 4D programme to help our client understand the installation sequence and synchronisation order of the project.
Missions
- Developping a detailed 4D programme to help the client understand the installation sequence and synchronisation order of the project : this was achieved through industry-leading solutions to generate quantities and check for material differences between design revisions, bringing it beyond just 4D BIM into 5D.
- Implementing project controls best practice and providing true ‘project intelligence’ using Power BI as a dashboard reporting tool, achieving full integration between all tools.
