Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Project Lead to work at our customers site in Caithness on a contract basis.

To provide resource to the Project Site Handover and Contract Closure Manager for project managing the Hard Copy Records Project.  This will ensure that  its contractual obligations with regards to hard copy records on site, and that the site is able to move into its Decommissioning and Transfer phase, with all hard copy records being successfully removed from site.

Job title: Project Lead 

Contract length: 12-18 months 

Location: Caithness

Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects to time and cost.
  • The successful candidate will be confident when dealing with external stakeholders and key contacts such as the Ministry of Defence and Regulators.
  • The successful candidate will be confident at leading and directing others across a range of locations and be used to interacting with personnel at all levels throughout the organisation.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of using their initiative and driving their project forward to achieve the required outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will have a good understanding of records management, the importance of record retention policies and be confident in describing these to others across the site.

 

My profile

Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally, the successful candidate will have prior experience of working on a Nuclear Licensed/Authorised Site and be familiar with security requirements.

  • Highly competent in Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint
  • Proven track record of delivering projects to time and cost
  • Confident when dealing with external stakeholders
  • Confident when leading and directing others
  • Good understanding of records management and retention schedules

**Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
