Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for Risk Management Specialist to work at our customers site in Caithness on a contract basis.

Role details: 

Job title: Risk Management Specialist 

Contract length: 12 months +

Location: Caithness

Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

The key function of the role will be to develop the risk management capability with the project teams and act as a liaison and facilitator between the contractual monthly obligations and the day to day utilisation of risk management at project level.

In addition to this to support and deputise for the Risk Lead in the following tasks:

  • Chair risk meetings with the project teams to identify threats & opportunities, potential mitigation activities, and close-out of risks;
  • Chair risk meetings with the Ministry of Defence, and manage the delivery and close-out of actions;
  • Administration of the data in the Active Risk Management (ARM) risk software;
  • Maintain the Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) software to support the Schedule Quantitative Risk Analysis (SQRA) data runs
  • Production of risk management programme reports

 

My profile

Experience:

  • Be able to demonstrate a high calibre of Project Control knowledge, ideally with recognised qualifications such as APM. 
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience of risk management processes and development.
  • Be experienced in the use of ARM and PRA.

**Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
