Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a dynamic, self-motivated Quality Lead  to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis.

The Quality Lead is for principal contractor and are currently undertaking the install works for the refurbishment of an existing test facility.

Role details: 

  • Job title: Quality Lead 
  • Contract length: 6-9 months 
  • Location: Derby  
  • Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compile Lifetime Quality Record (LTQR) packs. These are the records which demonstrate that the install works have been completed to a sufficient standard and comply with the client’s requirements and the requirements of the manufactures of the equipment. They contain information such as Technical Queries that relate to the works, redline drawings, signed ITPs, etc. When compiling the packs, you will be required to undertake a quality assurance check of the completed information to ensure it complies with the client’s quality standards.
  • Managing the LTQR team. The LTQR team currently has 2 full time staff and 1 part time, looking at the clients requirements for handover, there will be a requirement to review the resource on the project (expected that there will be a requirement to increase in the coming weeks/ months)
  • Run weekly meetings with the client to discuss progress on LTQR packs, and work through any specific issues with packs that are work in progress.
  • Organising and coordinating monthly/ bi-weekly site quality walks. This is a site visits with the client’s quality team to discuss current site works and to ensure that the ITPs are being adhered to and completed competently.
  • Reviewing of construction issue drawings and highlighting any potential construction issue to the client, via a Technical Query (TQ).
