Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a PMO Specialist to work in Derby on a contract basis.
The PMO Specialist will provide technical leadership, direction, guidance and services with regards to the development and deployment of new and disruptive project management methodologies and systems
Role details:
- Job title: PMO Specialist
- Contract length: 12 months
- Location: Derby
- Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution
You will lead the development and deployment of new project management processes, tools, systems and training.
- You will need to embrace change and bring people with you for the journey.
- Escalate the new and disruptive capabilities, competencies and training needed by the project management community.
- Be a company project management authority and maintaining that status by continuing professional development and networking with like professionals across Rolls-Royce plc, within wider industry and within professional bodies.
- Able to coach and develop others to become project management specialists.
- Proactively improve the supporting processes and performance of project management
My profile
What we are looking for:
- Experience using Agile Project management tools and methodologies
- Qualified to degree level in Project/Programme Management or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead and train all levels in Project/Programme Management competencies
- Proven people and stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation
- Proven experience of the delivery to cost, specification and time of packages of work or projects
**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
