Job Description
Lead CS&A Engineer
Warrington

A CS&A Engineer is required to support the delivery of the CS&A elements of the project, in collaboration with other stakeholders and engineering disciplines. The role will involve the following, among others:
- Lead the design delivery of the production of the design delivery of the CS&A elements of the project, collaborating with the other engineering disciplines to meet project objectives and milestones.
- Developing, allocating and supervising delivery of CS&A design deliverables (e.g. designs, assessments, drawings, and reports), checking and approving the output.
- General all round civil and structural design experience required, with experience working on new nuclear build and interfaces with existing structures.

My profile
- Degree qualified CS&A Engineer (or equivalent through enhanced experience).
- Chartered engineer (or close to).
Essential Experience:
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry.
- Production of CS&A design documents e.g. civil and structural calculations (design/assessment/substantiation), engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, method statements.
- Proficient in Steel and Concrete design to current codes.
- Structural seismic assessments and design.
- Structural site surveys, able to assess the condition of steel and concrete structural elements.
- Knowledge of CDM and design responsibilities.

- Experience of the nuclear industry Design.
- Sustainability.
- Nuclear Safety and Hazard Management.
- Monitored worker status advantageous but not essential
Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
