Job Description

🚧 Knowledge Management Lead for Major Infrastructure Projects 🚧

🌟 Role Overview:

Are you passionate about driving knowledge management within major infrastructure projects? Join us as a Knowledge Management Lead and support our projects with best practices! 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Business Unit Knowledge Management and Learning from Experience strategy. 🧠📈
  • Support Programme Directors in capturing and sharing project learnings. 📝🔄
  • Assure senior leadership that appropriate knowledge management steps are taken. 🏢✔️
  • Oversee a 10-15 year portfolio focused on improving Client Site capabilities. 🏗️📅
  • Ensure future works are informed by captured learnings, benefiting current and operational teams. 🔍🔧
  • Engage with the wider knowledge management community to align and share knowledge. 🌐🤝
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct after action reviews, and document findings effectively. 📋🗣️

🎓 Qualifications:

  • A STEM-related degree or demonstrable experience. 🎓🔬
  • Understanding of high-hazard industries (nuclear, construction, rail). ⚠️🚂🏗️
  • ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor Course (desirable). 📜✅
  • Strong interpersonal skills and workshop facilitation experience (remote & in-person). 🗣️🖥️
  • Excellent writing skills for effective communication. ✍️📢
  • Experience with Knowledge Management systems and strategies. 💻📚

🔒 Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be normally be required to be a Sole UK national

Umbrella contract role but permanent staff considered

The role can be predominantly remote but running and facilitating on-site workshops will be key to successful outcomes.  It is expected that there will be monthly attendance at site in Plymouth.
