Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
Working within the Equipment Contracts Team, your service will support the delivery of nuclear power plant Emergency and Ultimate Diesel Generators (EDG/UDG) from external suppliers. Key activities include:
⚡️ Supporting the development and initiation of a complex, high-value, turn-key contract package
⚡️ Applying Mechanical, Structural, and Civil Engineering expertise to assess design proposals and manage interfaces between systems and building designs
⚡️ Developing Invitation-To-Tender (ITT) technical documents and participating in tender evaluation activities
⚡️ Organizing and managing supplier interactions to clarify technical details while maintaining detailed records
⚡️ Managing technical configuration, including updates to specifications and associated documents
⚡️ Performing technical investigations and impact analyses for design options or changes
⚡️ Supporting contract kick-off activities and coordinating technical inputs from specialists
⚡️ Overseeing contract execution, including surveillance and approval of contractor deliverables
⚡️ Resolving multi-disciplinary technical issues, including managing technical Open Points (OP), interface queries, and design changes
⚡️ Liaising with other teams to ensure integration of equipment with interfacing systems, structures, and functions
⚡️ Working within commercial contract structures and supplier management frameworks
My profile
Required Skills and Qualifications:
🛠 Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
🛠 Experience working with Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG), Ultimate Diesel Generators (UDG), or similar nuclear power plant equipment
🛠 Understanding of the EPR or general PWR design
🛠 Knowledge of nuclear design processes, safety standards, and seismic qualification
🛠 Ability to produce technical specifications and manage technical documentation
🛠 Understanding of nuclear equipment regulations (e.g., RCC-E)
🛠 Experience in the design of nuclear safety-classified equipment (mechanical, structural, or civil engineering)
🛠 Familiarity with equipment supply contracts and contract forms such as NEC/FIDIC
🛠 Experience in supplier management or oversight
🛠 English language skills are essential; knowledge of French is an advantage
