My profile
Electrical inspector is in charge of performing predefined checks regarding the conformity of electrical systems and equipment of the NPP buildings. These checks will concern mainly grounding during the construction phase, then low-voltage equipment (cabinets, auxiliary electrical systems, distribution) and very low-voltage equipment (e.g. sensors, etc.) during the installation phase.

Ensure that electrical works inspected are compliant with regulatory and technical requirements according to Turkish law 30024 on inspection of nuclear power plantsEnsure the traceability of the inspections performed, of the defaults and deviations observed and of the non-conformities issuedVerify the defaults, deviations or non-conformities are properly correctedEnsure his/her inspection activities are performed in a safely manner
Duties
Take knowledge of Akkuyu NPP Project referential (norms and standards, specifications, procedures, etc.) related to the electrical systems and equipment installation works to be inspectedReview and comment the execution documentation (technical drawings, quality plans, etc.) related to the works to be inspectedPrepare the inspection on site by identifying the elementary checks to be carried out, considering the requirements defined by the Turkish Regulation 30024Conduct the inspection on site in order to verify the compliance of the electrical works executed with the execution documentation and applicable norms and standardsPerform quality inspection related to earthing/lightning grid of buildings (e.g. resistivity, connectivity, cut-weld controls, etc.)Conduct inspection for incoming electrical equipment on NPP worksite site to verify the conformity and the preservation conditions of the concerned material/equipmentElaborate Work Inspection Reports in order to keep record of the content and the results of the inspection performed on siteDescribe and record the defaults or deviations observed during the inspection and follow-up their resolutionPerform an assessment on the defaults and deviations recorded, and when decided, describe and write a non-conformity notification, then monitor the corresponding corrective and preventive actionsRespect the existing AEOS NCIO project Quality Assurance processes and HSE requirementsContribute on request to the elaboration of the AEOS NCIO Project Monthly Report, by providing information on inspection activities carried out during the monthAttend, on request, internal or external technical meetings
