Job Description

Assystem are recruiting for a Detail Design Engineer to join our customers team a 9-12 month contract to support the delivery of key projects in Derby.

Role detail:

Job title: Detail Design Engineer

Location: Derby

Contract: 9-12 month contract

Hours: 37 hours + per week 

Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella

 

Detail Design Engineer to support our SPM Design Engineers in the production of detailed manufacturing and general assembly drawings. This will be either via taking CAD models of new equipment designs and producing the drawings or carrying out minor deign modifications to existing equipment design from a specification and updating the associated drawing

My profile

Qualifications and experience required to apply for the role:

  • Experienced in the production of detail drawings to enable manufacture to BS8888.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD, specifically Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • An understanding of sound engineering principles, including: design for manufacture, design for assembly and maintenance.”
