Job Description

Contracts Administrator

Warrington

Full-Time 

Responsibilities

  • 🔄 Maintain good collaborative working relationship with SL.
  • 🤝 Proactively interfacing with the SL; PM, SPEM, PEM, Planners, Cost Engineers, discipline RE’s and discipline engineers.
  • 📝 Production of TO Response supporting documents; Estimates, Organisation Charts and Risk Registers, including management of JGAR action to TO approval.
  • 🎤 Presentation of the TO Response at the JGAR (Joint Governance and Assistance Review).
  • 💰 Production of DSA (AXIOM/SL) task cost estimates for reimbursable and TCIF contracts.
  • 🛠️ Proactively manage Sub-Contracts, from RFQ, through monitoring and managing progress attendance at meetings, to final account.
  • 📊 Ensuring that estimates satisfy the scope of work stated within the Task Order Request, Employee Instruction, PICD, or Change Event.
  • 🛡️ NEC3 Contract Management using CEMAR.
  • 📈 Monitoring and reporting performance of the TCIF Contracts.
  • 🚨 Drafting and responding to Early Warning Notices.
  • ⚠️ Actively participate in SL safety awareness/initiatives.
  • 🎓 Undertake training as and when required to improve effectiveness in job role.
  • 🗒️ Preparation of monthly reports.
  • 📅 Attend monthly project reviews as required, covering all aspects of projects (costs, risks, timescales, cash, quality, estimate to complete, etc.).

My profile

  • 🎓 1-3 years of experience in a cost/project control environment assisting in developing detailed cost schedules and EAC forecasts.
  • 🧑‍💼 Familiarity with NEC Contract and CEMAR software.
  • 💻 Competent in EXCEL and MS Word.
  • 🗣️ Can demonstrate sound organisational and communication skills.

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken, applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
