Job Description

On behalf of Rolls Royce, Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for multiple Contamination Control Operatives to work on site in Derby on an initial 24 month contract basis.  

 

Role details:  
Role title – Contamination Control Operatives
Contract duration – 24 months
Contract type – PAYE via Umbrella – INSIDE IR35 
Hours – 37 hours, Split between days, Afters and nights (overtime achievable) 
Location – Raynesway  
  

Reporting to the Production Leader the purpose of the role is to carry out clean downs throughout the shopfloor to ensure we drive down radiological contamination, carry out other duties such as coolant top ups on machines, and improve/maintain 5S standards within the shop.

Measure of success is consistent reduction in contamination levels within the shop – this is measured and reported by Health Physics.

  • Consciencious individuals that take pride in maintaining cleanliness within the factory
  • Ability to work to procedures.
  • Full training will be given by Health Physics on the clean down methods.
