Job Description
Scope
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Communications Officer to implement a corporate program of communications within Assystem Radicon, Assystem’s corporate entity in KSA. Assystem has unveiled a bold new brand image called Switch On that sets out the company’s commitment to accelerating the energy transition worldwide. Assystem has been an active player in this fight for more than 55 years, but through Switch On the company is taking it a step further and raising the stakes to help its clients act now and speed up the energy transition through its engineering, project management and digital services.
Your energy and enthusiasm will be invaluable in communicating Assystem’s Switch On brand within Assystem Radicon and establishing Assystem’s business culture through employee engagement campaigns that are focused around Assystem’s global HR & Recruitment strategy and its corporate CSR policy Switch to ImpAct. As well as external communication you will play a key role in shaping Assystem Radicon’s recruitment communication, deploying the new ‘Switchers’ employee brand with support from the wider HR & Recruitment teams. You will also be involved in delivering targeted operational marketing activity to support the company’s strategy to grow in KSA in its core areas of infrastructure and expand in energy transition and digital.
Your role will be unique as you will be the link between the activity in-country and the global team, ensuring a successful relationship between the two. This role would suit a hardworking and ambitious candidate who could evolve alongside the growth of the business in KSA.
Reporting
Your day-to-day reporting will be directly to the Group International Communications Manager, as part of the Group Marketing & Communications Department and you will also work closely with the Assystem Vice President International Energy New Build & Middle-East Central Asia regions.
Language
Fluent English and Arabic speaker with excellent written English.

Education
Bachelor’s degree is essential.
Formal training in marketing and communications is desirable.
Person specification
- You have a minimum of three years’ experience working in an in-house communications role or in an agency.
- You will have good experience in delivering employee engagement and/ or change communications campaigns ideally working for an international company.
- You understand how to build a strong culture of employee engagement in a business and can work with the chief executive and senior leadership team to build effective communication to employees and vice versa, implementing robust feedback mechanisms.
- You have experience of delivering operational marketing campaigns and understand how to translate business strategy into a measurable campaign.
- You have experience supporting the development of a brand and are aware of the strategies to deploy to build its presence inside different markets. This would include preparing brochures, presentations, leaflets, stands for events and any other marketing preparations.
- You are a confident copywriter and can project manage the production of company brochures, leaflets, adverts, websites and any other written business collateral.
- You can act as an advisor on the cultural fit of internal and external campaigns.
- You have experience working in the technical/ industrial sector.
- You are an excellent writer who can produce versatile content that can speak to different audiences across multiple external and internal channels.
- You have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of appreciating differing working styles and being flexible to the preferences of others.
- You are very organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines.
- You like working in a dynamic environment, always ready to take on new challenges.

Location
The position is based in Assystem Radicon office in Al Khobar, KSA. Some occasional travels across KSA and Middle East might be required as very occasionally to Paris.
