Job Description

On behalf of Rolls Royce, Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a number of CNC Machinists to work at the Rolls Royce site in Derby on a 12 month contract basis.  

  
Role details:   
Role title – Machinist 
Contract duration – 12 months
Contract type – PAYE via Umbrella – INSIDE IR35  
Hours – 37 hours  
Location – Rolls Royce (Raynesway) 

Sector – Nuclear and Defence 
  
Key accountabilities will include: 

  • With quality paramount to the success of our business, you will be required to demonstrate compliance to relevant company, national, and international standards to a level beyond reproach.
  • CNC Machining to a high tolerance using a mixture of 3 & 5 axis machinery

My profile

Skills and experience required for this role:   

  • Ideal candidate will have experience in 3 & 5 axis machining and be level 3 qualified in engineering or hold an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in any of the following operating systems would be advantageous – Siemens Sinumerik 840D sl operating system, FANUC or heidenhain, also experience in CNC programming and NPI.
