To achieve this, our 7,000 Switchers combine their historical engineering expertise and project management with digital technologies.

In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.

Job Description

Job Brief:

The BIM 4D Engineer is responsible for implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology to create 4D models that incorporate time-related information, enabling efficient project planning and visualization. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing project management and decision-making processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop 4D BIM models by integrating 3D design data with scheduling information.
  • Use BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar) to create and maintain 4D models.
  • Analyze project schedules and identify potential conflicts or delays.
  • Visualize and communicate project progress and construction sequencing through 4D models.
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports using 4D simulations.
  • Ensure 4D models adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Support project managers in optimizing construction schedules and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve issues and provide recommendations for project improvements.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, , or equivalent.

Years of Experience/ Sector

5-10 Years in IT construction sector

Job-Specific Skills

  • Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks),

  • Construction scheduling knowledge.
