You will be joining our expanding team of over 7000 delivering innovative engineering across a spectrum of digital, energy transition and Nuclear technologies such as fusion and modularisation alongside key global large-scale critical Infrastructure projects.
Job Description
The Electrical Equipment Assistant Project Manager will work within a team that will have a diverse role within it supporting delivery of work during all project phases within tasks areas.
Main responsibilities for the Assistant Project Manager – I&C Equipment will include:
- Coordinate and record meetings with key project stakeholders
- Support and attend Multi-Disciplinary Team and Joint Management Team meetings
- Organize and coordinate Technical Engineering, Cost, Contractor, and Scheduling meetings on behalf of the Programme Manager
- Produce Electrical Project documentation and implement management systems to support delivery and quality
- Ensure wider arrangements are implemented and advise the management team on necessary actions
- Facilitate internal communications within the Project Delivery Team and the wider HPC Project teams
- Assist in delivering the List of Deliverables (LOD) and applying the principles of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Uphold the principles of Continuous Improvement and interface with other NNB teams on specific tasks under the direction of the Programme Manager
- preferred.
- Understanding of CDM Regulations.
- Understand nuclear quality needs, assurance, and control, apply graded approach to quality.

- Implement project management and organizational skills through practical experience and recognized qualification.
- Demonstrate good technical knowledge of Electrical equipment.
- Demonstrate experience managing projects through the project lifecycle from concept to handover.
- Exhibit exceptional people management skills, collaborate within complex, multidisciplinary groups.
- Communicate a logical thought process, demonstrate analytical skills, including budget analysis and forecasting.
- APM membership or understanding of APM project management Body of Knowledge principles.
- Knowledgeable of Nuclear Safety Case and its purpose.
- Degree or similar qualification in engineering, construction, or related field preferred.
- Understanding of CDM Regulations.
- Understand nuclear quality needs, assurance, and control,
- Apply graded approach to quality.
