Assystem is recruiting 1500 engineers in France

10 March 2020

Assystem is launching an ambitious campaign to recruit 1,500 engineers in France in 2020, in order to meet the growing needs of its customers in the nuclear, energy, transport, construction, defence and life sciences sectors.

"Technological developments are simultaneously affecting all our business sectors and joining Assystem is a real opportunity to participate in the technological and societal turnaround we are witnessing. Throughout their career, the skills and commitment of our employees are valued within the framework of the innovative and challenging projects they build in France and abroad. "says Emmanuelle Capiez, SVP Human Resources at Assystem.

Assystem is looking for profiles in project management, nuclear safety, mechanical engineering, systems engineering and digital engineering (PLM, BIM, Data Scientist, etc.) to work on international nuclear projects (in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Finland, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, etc.), projects such as the Grand Paris Express or the creation of an autonomous metro in the transport sector, and in terms of innovation in areas of expertise such as blockchain, big data and Industry 4.0.

Major HR/Recruitment issues :

Assystem wishes to hire more than 45% of junior profiles (0/3 years of experience), integrate a new class of 150 trainees / work-study students and aims to continue its approach in favour of Diversity by increasing the number of recruitments of under-represented profiles within the sector:

  • In 2019, Assystem recruited 35% of female profiles in France and aspires to constantly increase this figure in the coming years.
  • In addition, as part of its ambitious and proactive approach to disability, the Group plans to integrate at least 30 new employees with disability in France by 2023.

In constant evolution, the group is constantly renewing itself and developing new recruitment and management initiatives, in line with its leadership model - a reference framework for harmonizing internal practices by embodying a common managerial culture that is meaningful for its managers and employees. A real backbone to preserve DNA and fundamentals in a changing and developing international environment.

"Agility, endurance, the ability to dare, and a sense of teamwork are among the attributes sought and cultivated by Assystem. Beyond technical skills, it is personality and alignment with our values (soft skills) that make the difference. "says Emmanuelle Capiez.
