As a sponsor of Emmanuel Flipo, Assystem offered Toulouse a one-off artistic performance in the open air

Last Friday, on the Place du Capitole in Toulouse, the painter Emmanuel Flipo created a work of coloured pigments scattered over an area of 3,000 sq. m, symbolising the merger of the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrenees regions in France into the single new region of Occitanie. This "geo-poetic" map was supported by Assystem, a major business player in the region and deeply committed to “the growth to be.”

The artist Emmanuel Flipo and Dominique Louis, Chairman and CEO of Assystem Group and a contemporary art collector, decided to join forces to offer a poetic vision of the world through art. For 90 minutes, the painter scattered color pigments around the Capitol Square at the whim of the wind, creating a vast fresco symbolizing "human connection with the natural environment and the coming together of the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées regions."

"Emmanuel Flipo’s work identifies with Assystem’s vision of the future. A changing world in which the human footprint should not overwhelm the beauty and resources of nature. Assystem engineers work every day to develop and implement solutions that ensure what we call ‘the growth to be’, sustainable growth driven by innovation," said Dominique Louis, Chairman and CEO of Assystem.

An international engineering group founded exactly 50 years ago, Assystem supports its customers in developing their products and managing their capital expenditure throughout the life cycle. The group is particularly active in the aerospace, automotive, naval, defence, and energy sectors, especially nuclear power.
