As part of this commitment, Assystem is proud to support the Republic of Kazakhstan in the development of its first Large Nuclear Power Plant (LNPP). To strengthen the Project Controls team in Astana, we are seeking a Scheduler to support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the integrated project schedule across all project phases.
Job Description
Role Summary
The Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedule, tracking progress across multiple disciplines and contractors, and supporting schedule analysis and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. This is a client-side role, requiring close coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and contractor teams.
- Develop, update, and maintain the integrated project schedule using Primavera P6.
- Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and logic-driven schedules for all relevant project activities.
- Support the consolidation of contractor schedules into the overall integrated master schedule.
- Collect progress data from project teams and contractors, analyze variances, and support schedule forecasting.
- Prepare regular schedule reports and dashboards, including Gantt charts and S-curves, for project management.
- Support schedule risk analysis and mitigation planning for critical path and delay risks.
- Participate in planning and coordination meetings with project controls, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Support change management activities and schedule impact analysis related to scope, sequencing, or execution strategy changes.
My profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling for large-scale EPC, construction, or industrial projects
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6; experience with MS Project is a plus
- Solid understanding of WBS, CPM, resource- and cost-loaded schedules, and basic schedule risk analysis
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Fluent in English and Russian
- Experience in nuclear projects is preferable, but not mandatory
