Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Document Controller to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis. This will be for an initial 6 months.

Takes responsibility for the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios. Monitor, review and report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
  • Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project.
  • Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
  • Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
  • Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
  • Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
  • Facilitated and manage risk and opportunity activities.

My profile

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
  • Member of a professional body and working towards a APMP qualification or equivalent.
  • Working towards APMP / PMI qualification or equivalent (or assessed as possessing equivalent knowledge / experience to the same standard).
  • Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the

UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
