From 4 to 6 November, Paris-Villepinte hosted the 6th edition of the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE). With more than 36,000 participants and nearly 1,070 exhibitors, the event recorded an increase in attendance of over 50% compared with the previous edition, reflecting the growing interest in innovations and challenges facing the sector.
As a Platinum Sponsor, Assystem took advantage of the event to reaffirm its key role in the development of the nuclear industry. The Group presented a rich programme showcasing its expertise in engineering, digital solutions and project management, as well as its innovative solutions for high-performance, safe and sustainable nuclear power.
At its stand, Assystem welcomed many international delegates eager to learn how the Group supports countries in transforming their energy mix. This edition also attracted numerous students and jobseekers, highlighting the growing appeal of nuclear careers and the opportunities offered by Assystem.

Strategic partnerships for the future of the industry

This edition of WNE was also an opportunity for Assystem to strengthen its collaborations and sign several major agreements, demonstrating its commitment to the development of the nuclear industry:

  • A strengthened partnership with SiteFlow for the digitalisation of field operations.
  • New engineering agreements with Orano as part of the Aval du Futur (ADF) programme.
  • A renewed commitment with NUWARD to support the development of the NUWARD SMR project, a major advance in the development of small modular reactors in Europe.
  • A MoU with Metroscope to accelerate the digitalisation and augmented maintenance of industrial systems.
  • A collaboration with newcleo for the deployment of a PLM solution tailored to AMRs.

Assystem also signed new academic partnerships with CESI, Mines d’Alès and INSTN to support the skills of the future and strengthen its engagement with training institutions.

Digital demonstrations focused on performance challenges

Beyond its presentations, Assystem showcased a wide range of demonstrations and workshops, highlighting its expertise in design, construction, supervision, risk management and optimisation of nuclear projects, as well as innovative technologies and methods designed to sustainably enhance project performance.

  • Accelerating digital transformation: Using digital twins, interoperable platforms and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), Assystem demonstrates how digital continuity strengthens collaboration, improves decision-making and secures on-site operations.
The 150% Design methodology was also presented, enabling the industrialisation of project replication by integrating all potential variants at the design stage.
  • Capitalising on and optimising nuclear projects: Assystem has developed a secure AI system that provides engineers and newcomers fast access to essential information, drawing on more than 60 years of technical and operational experience.
Demonstrations using 3D facility models (Scan to BIM and BIM 2 SCADA) illustrated how accurate representations of infrastructures simplify design, optimise maintenance and enable real-time operations.
  • Compliance and proactive risk management: With DeepCompliance, an AI-based document quality-control tool, teams can instantly detect textual, structural or semantic inconsistencies, as well as missing or incorrect acronyms and data.
Our experts also presented Smart Risk Mapper, a solution based on Assystem’s extensive experience that anticipates and qualifies risks from the design phase and throughout the entire project lifecycle.
