CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES
As part of the ‘Aval du Futur’ project, ORANO is undertaking an initiative to structure the Construction Site Information System in order to organise the business processes, data, applications and infrastructure required to manage on-site activities. The urbanisation of the Construction Site Information System is based on a cross-analysis of business processes, handled data and deployed application solutions, with the aim of establishing a consistent and shared vision of the information system.
The scope covers, in particular, the areas of site clearance, site preparation, site infrastructure, the environment, access, remote sites and logistics, within a context characterised by stringent requirements regarding safety, traceability, coordination between stakeholders and interface management.
Project scope
- Analysis and modelling of the business processes for the Construction Site Information System (Q4 2026): identification of stakeholders, roles, data, information flows and applications supporting construction site activities;
- Benchmarks and comparative analyses (Q4 2026) between existing practices, target requirements and solutions available on the market, in order to prioritise use cases and inform decisions regarding the construction site information system’s architecture;
- Definition of the target architecture for the Construction Site IS (Q1 2027), the associated architecture scenarios and the principles for integration between processes, data, applications and infrastructure, in line with the IT, network and cyber security constraints of ORANO;
- Development of a transformation roadmap and the associated budget (Q1 2027), in order to plan the gradual implementation of the Construction Site IS, secure future solution choices and prepare for the operational phases of the ‘Aval du Futur’ project.
