Tickets for the Safety & Risk Forum are now live! Those seeking to invest in their CPD, network and strengthen their industry knowledge will not be disappointed as the 2025 edition of the forum will feature industry leading speakers, dynamic workshops and a new evening awards ceremony, recognising excellence in nuclear safety and risk management in the UK nuclear industry.

The event will bring together expert insights from leaders and technical specialists from across the civil nuclear and defence sectors and will feature keynote presentations from Microsoft’s UK Energy & Utilities Director, Sam Mathew and Andy Newell, Deputy Director, Ministry of Defence (MOD).

With the growing global demand for digital infrastructure influencing the need for reliable, scalable energy sources, and shaping new policy outcomes, safety and risk practitioners are at the forefront of multiple changes concerning policy and the introduction of new nuclear technologies in the UK.

To address this, the 2025 Safety & Risk Forum will explore ‘How policy and technology transformations are shaping nuclear safety and risk services in the 21st century’.

The two-day CPD accredited conference will give attendees access to a variety of thought-provoking panellists, workshops and networking opportunities, with strong focus on;

  • The impact of UK policy changes
  • What technical innovation means for safety and risk
  • How safety and risk considerations are enhancing new nuclear energy technologies

Who would benefit from this event?

  • Practitioners working in the industry who will benefit from technical knowledge sharing and networking with their industry peers that will provide CPD points.
  • Decision makers seeking to bolster knowledge on current policy and technical trends affecting the delivery of safety & risk management on projects today.
  • Thought leaders involved in the practice who seek an opportunity to share their ideas. You can purchase tickets at the Earlybird reduced rate here.
