Babcock International Group (Babcock) has appointed Assystem to its new as a key supplier supporting the delivery of some of the world's most critical defence and infrastructure programmes.
The new 5-year framework helps to streamline procurement and strengthen collaboration across Babcock’s global portfolio by working closely with a select number of suppliers such as Assystem. It covers a broad range of capabilities, including Nuclear, Marine, Aviation, Land and Mission Systems programmes - enabling Assystem to support projects across Babcock.
This appointment represents a significant strategic milestone for Assystem, enabling suppliers to contribute engineering expertise earlier in Babcock projects and future business opportunities in the UK and international markets. This framework also strengthens Assystem’s presence across key UK defence sites and builds on its existing track record, supporting major clients including the Ministry of Defence, Rolls-Royce and Babcock.
Assystem brings more than 60 years of experience in solutions delivery of complex nuclear, defence and infrastructure programmes. Its multidisciplinary capabilities span design, systems engineering, safety, project and programme management, digital transformation and asset lifecycle support.
