Assystem at TINCE 2026: Digital Innovation Serving Nuclear Civil Engineering
8 June 2026
From May 20 to 22, 2026, Assystem teams took part in TINCE (Technological Innovations in Nuclear Civil Engineering), the international conference dedicated to innovation in nuclear civil engineering, organized by SFEN at the Palais des Congrès in Tours, France.
This participation strengthened ties with key industry stakeholders and contributed to discussions on the future of nuclear civil engineering through papers, posters, and conference sessions. For this edition, Assystem showcased innovative methodologies and digital solutions supporting the performance of nuclear projects.
Ensuring digital continuity and interoperability of digital tools
The teams shared their vision of integrated digital continuity based on interoperable digital tools. By connecting digital twins, PLM solutions, and domain-specific tools, this approach enables reliable project management, full data traceability, and enhanced compliance control throughout the lifecycle of nuclear facilities.
Optimizing construction through Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)
Assystem also presented its approaches to improving nuclear construction site performance, notably through the AWP methodology to automate work packages, monitor progress in real time, and anticipate risks using scenario-based analysis. This is a key methodology to boost productivity, reduce uncertainties, and secure project schedules.
Enhancing field data reliability with Scan to BIM
Transforming field data into usable digital models is a major lever for complex projects. Through its Scan to BIM solution, Assystem facilitates the design, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of facilities. This approach improves data accuracy and supports optimized management of industrial assets.
Automating site analysis with DeepGIS
Finally, the teams introduced DeepGIS, a solution leveraging artificial intelligence to automate territorial analysis, compare technical and environmental constraints, and improve the reliability of nuclear site selection. This innovative tool accelerates and de-risks the early phases of nuclear projects.
By participating in TINCE 2026, Assystem reaffirms its commitment to the nuclear industry and its contribution to shaping its future. With 60 years of expertise supporting major nuclear programs, the Group builds on its legacy know-how and digital innovation to drive digital transformation, enhance project performance, and address safety, competitiveness, and sustainability challenges.
