Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fluid Systems Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of complex fluid systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and operate at optimal efficiency.

  • Plan and execute commissioning activities for various fluid systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Develop and implement commissioning procedures and protocols
  • Conduct thorough system inspections and performance tests
  • Analyse test results and prepare detailed commissioning reports
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes and methodologies

 

My profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fluid dynamics, pump systems, and valve technology
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and data analysis tools
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Experience with industrial process control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
  • Willingness to travel as required for on-site commissioning activities
