Assystem is secure in its position as the third largest nuclear engineering company in the world, following the publication of the annual Engineering News Record ranking.

The company has a more than 55-year heritage in the design and construction of nuclear power, and nuclear technology is at the core of its energy transition business, driving 70% of the businesses’ overall revenue.

Assystem’s core mission – embodied in its brand – Switch On - is the acceleration of the energy transition. As the global demand for nuclear power challenges the availability of skilled and local resources, Assystem is responding by investing in its teams to be ready to deliver for clients. In recent months, Assystem has acquired three companies with expertise in digital, project controls and engineering that consolidate expertise in the supply chain into Assystem’s nuclear business.

ENR conducts annual surveys of major industry segments by ranking firms engaged in general contracting, specialised contracting, engineering, architecture, and environmental services, among other specialties. The rankings, based on annual national and international revenues, are further divided into specific market categories.

Assystem also featured in the Government Buildings and Power market categories of the survey, featuring 13th and 15th respectively.

We are delighted to retain our status as a top 3 global player in nuclear power.

Nuclear power offers a low-carbon, abundant and secure power option for countries looking to transition away from fossil fuels.

We are more motivated than ever before about the potential of nuclear as a transformational low-carbon technology, and we are ready to support our clients, every step of the way, on their nuclear journey, which will play a vital role in reducing global carbon emissions.
