Our vision

Energy transition

Combatting climate change is undeniably one of the priorities of the 21st century. This fight will require energy transition on a global scale. This involves making safe and sustainable energy available to all the populations around the world, enabling them to access more advanced standards of living, particularly in terms of healthcare, communication, education, and convenience. Assystem considers that energy transition entails, alongside energy demand control actions, substantial development of electricity usage and also increasingly decarbonised electricity, combining nuclear power and renewable energies. Assystem is of the view that nuclear power has an essential role to play in guaranteeing energy security and reducing the impact of greenhouse gases.

The second major revolution in which Assystem is playing a part is that of digitalisation and using it to enhance the performance of our infrastructures. Mining the data generated in any industrial infrastructure provides a wealth of information and helps leverage performance. The field is thus wide-ranging and the new technologies are multidimensional. For example, levels of safety and security will be enhanced through improved requirements management. Project design and steering will also be enhanced, with digital engineering support tools. Field services solutions will also be developed to optimise the operational performance of facilities and their operators.
