Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the delivery of operating equipment, specifically valves and fluid handling equipment. This is a hybrid role (2 -3 days in the office) and involves working closely with external suppliers and ensuring successful integration of equipment into the plant.
Your future team will rely on you for:
- Creating and amending technical specifications for new equipment scopes.
- Performing surveillance and approval of contractor deliverables and design activities.
- Supporting technical and project meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting in resolving multi-disciplinary technical issues, including addressing interface queries and design changes.
- Coordinating technical specialists for reviewing deliverables and resolving technical concerns.
- Reviewing and providing input on contract amendments and exemptions.
- Liaising with RD and client teams to ensure proper equipment integration.

🛠 Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical interfaces (piping, fluids, radioprotection, safety).
- Good knowledge of valves and fluid handling systems
- Capable of producing high-quality technical specifications
- Sound understanding of mechanical engineering regulations in safety-critical environments

- Previous experience working on large-scale industrial projects
