This role involves detailed electrical layout design, assessment, and modification within the HPC site engineering office. You will be crucial in analyzing site requests for impacts on electrical layouts, producing technical solutions, creating and updating electrical system models, and ensuring cohesive design integration across disciplines. Working closely with various teams, you will implement layout changes and manage the electrical layout’s change process, contributing to the project’s overall success.

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with experience in electrical layout design and proficiency in design software. Knowledge of electrical layout rules and standards is essential. Desirable but non-essential qualifications include experience within nuclear or similarly regulated environments, familiarity with the UK’s nuclear regulatory context, and an understanding of nuclear power station operations and safety.
