Job Description

Your future team:

Join our Commissioning Team out in France where you will be working under the Commissioning Manager.

You will be joining one of three commissioning Teams working on a rota of 3 weeks on (located in France) and 1 week off. You will be responsible for providing “hands on” commissioning activities.

This is an Outside IR35 Contract

Your Missions:

🛠️ Deliver electrical systems commissioning from design to end of active commissioning within budget, quality, time, and performance constraints.

 📝 Prepare and authorize documentation, arrange manufacture of Temporary Commissioning Aids, and implement at site to expedite construction completions and progressive commissioning of systems.

 📋 Ensure all standards, procedures, work instructions, and setting-to-work documentation are adhered to for commissioning.

📄 Prepare commissioning documents and safe systems of work, manage the approval process through the Testing & Commissioning Panel and facility work control approval processes.

📅 Organize commissioning activities through meetings, tests, demonstrations, training events, and performance verifications.

My profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

⚡ Specific experience in commissioning Electrical and C&I systems.

⚡ HV experience working with Electrical facilities, including “hands-on” commissioning, defect repair, maintenance, and HV equipment safety.

🏭 Experienced in conducting factory acceptance testing with UK and international suppliers, and vetting, production, and approval of prescribed documentation.

📐 Understanding of Design Engineering, Construction, and Handover processes.

🧪 Able to organize and execute complex commissioning tests and analyze results.

🚀The ability to perform initial operator duties during commissioning testing phases (i.e., Non-active commissioning).

📜 Needs a good understanding of HSAWA, CDM, risk assessments.

⚙️ Understanding of Safety Functional Requirements and Safety Justifications.

📚 Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and related standards (e.g., BS EN 60204).

Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance, and ideally DV. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national, 

Location:  CEA Valduc, France 3 weeks (onsite), 1 week leave

Outside IR35 Contract

Hours: Up to 50 hours per week

Must hold a CSCS Card or equivalent
