The TP400 is being developed for the Airbus A400M military transport aircraft by Europrop International which is made up of partner companies; Rolls-Royce, MTU, Snecma and ITP. Assystem was selected by one of the partners to produce the instrumentation design schemes for three of the TP400 modules. 

The design team at Assystem worked as members of the client’s Integrated Project Team and led the design and project management activities with engineers who have extensive gas turbine experience and are familiar with CADDS5 and other industry design tools. Key deliverables were the design schemes with detailed CAD drawings and full product configuration definition to the client’s quality standards.
 
Efficient use of experienced design and project management staff integrated with Product Data Management (PDM) support has given the client a cost effective and timely solution. With its diverse range of engineering capability, Assystem has effectively managed the client’s requirements across its sites in the UK.
