Job Description
Joining a major nuclear project as a Business Change Manager, this role plays a pivotal part in leading and managing the successful implementation of organisational change across the projects Transformation Portfolio. This individual is responsible for ensuring that projects are assessed for their impact on people, culture and the wider organisation and that their intended adoption-related benefits are fully realised.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a Business Change Management strategy for the Transformation Portfolio.
- Lead organisational readiness planning, ensuring structured, effective change approaches.
- Conduct impact assessments to analyse business needs, supporting prioritisation, risk mitigation, and solution design.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption, ensuring changes to processes, systems, and structures are clearly communicated, embedded, and sustained.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support training and capability building, enabling adoption of new ways of working.
- Maintain a Business Change heat map to manage change saturation risks and address adoption challenges proactively.
- Track and report people-related benefits and risks, providing assurance and expert guidance on best-practice change.
- Partner with Programme/Project Managers, PMO, and workstream leads to integrate change into governance and delivery.
- Work with the projects Change Agent Network to strengthen relationships and champion change across the organisation.
My profile
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in Business Change Management/transformation roles within Portfolio, Programme and Project delivery structures.
- Proven experience of delivering Business Change Management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership with the ability to influence and inspire others to embrace change.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, enabling successful business outcomes.
