You will lead electrical utilities engineering activities supporting a major nuclear construction programme.

The role combines technical leadership, contractor management and electrical infrastructure assurance.

⚡Lead delivery of electrical utilities support across major construction activities
🔌Review electrical designs ensuring compliance with project and industry standards
🛡️Ensure statutory, regulatory and site electrical compliance requirements are achieved
🤝Manage relationships with service partners promoting collaborative project delivery
📋Develop plans supporting reliable electrical service delivery across the project
🔍Monitor contractor competence and escalate capability gaps where required
⚙️Support procurement activities through technical specifications and design reviews
📈Drive early intervention to resolve issues affecting operational service delivery
🚧Oversee HV and LV electrical infrastructure performance and safety compliance
📢Champion continuous improvement across electrical engineering and contractor performance

🎓Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering discipline
⚡Strong experience managing HV and LV electrical systems and infrastructure
🔌Knowledge of electrical switching, isolation procedures and safety rules
📚Understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 standards
🏗️Experience delivering engineering services on large-scale infrastructure projects
🛡️Background working within high-security or highly regulated environments
👥Leadership experience managing service delivery and contractor performance
🤝Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams
📈Experience developing budgets and managing operational performance desirable
🏅IOSH accreditation and Behavioural Safety Programme certification advantageous
