Job Description

 

  • Oversee the co-ordination of MEP works, with particular focus on PHE (Plumbing, Heating & Electrical) and fire fighting installations
  • Liaise between all relevant trades, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of PHE and fire fighting systems
  • Monitor and manage the interface between different MEP disciplines to prevent conflicts and delays
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks on PHE and fire fighting works to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive interface documentation, including coordination drawings, meeting minutes, and progress reports
  • Ensure all PHE and fire fighting installations adhere to relevant building regulations, safety standards, and project requirements
  • Communicate effectively with project management, design teams, and contractors to resolve interface issues promptly
  • Manage schedules and resource allocation for PHE and fire fighting works to maintain project timelines
  • Identify potential clashes and coordination issues early and implement corrective measures
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings with all MEP contractors and relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of all interface-related decisions, approvals, and modifications
  • Support the project team in achieving health, safety, and environmental objectives on site

My profile

  • B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10-15 years of professional experience in MEP coordination, interface management, or construction project delivery
