Job Description
The Job Mission
This is a site-based role supporting construction delivery within the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) scope of works. You’ll work alongside Construction Delivery Managers, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and progress within your assigned area. Relocation support may be available for those moving closer to Bridgwater.
Key Responsibilities:
⚙️ Coordinate daily construction activities within allocated work packages
📋 Monitor contractor performance and report on progress and key milestones
🧱 Support the management of quality inspections, testing and handover processes
🚧 Maintain a visible presence on site to uphold safety standards and procedures
🔧 Collaborate with engineering, planning, and quality teams to resolve site issues
📈 Contribute to planning, risk reviews, and schedule updates
🗂 Ensure all documentation and permits are up to date and compliant
My profile
Skills and Experience
🔩 HND, NVQ Level 4 or Degree in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
🏗 Experience in construction coordination, supervision or site engineering
⚙️ Good understanding of installation sequencing and work package interfaces
⚖️ SMSTS or SSSTS certification (required)
🧰 Familiarity with QA, safety, and permit-to-work systems
📐 Strong organisational skills and proactive communication on site
💡 Awareness of CDM regulations and construction safety standards
