Job Description
**Senior Manager-Electrical – Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and professional development
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of electrical projects from conception through completion
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial accountability
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality standards
- Conduct technical reviews and provide expert guidance on complex electrical systems and solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate contractor performance for electrical services and equipment
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior management
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering

**Senior Manager-Electrical – Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech or B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a management or supervisory role
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in electrical engineering
- Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects from design through implementation
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE)
- Proven experience managing departmental budgets and financial planning
- Experience leading and developing technical teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification
- Experience with electrical design software and project management tools
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and renewable energy systems
- Strong presentation and technical writing skills
- Experience in vendor management and contractor evaluation
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
