Job Description

The Regional Business Manager steers and leads a regional entity in all its components (P&L, Team Management, Sales, Quality delivery…) and ensures both the development of business with current and new clients, and the progress and performance of teams.

The Regional Business Manager has 3 main missions: 
• BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, SALES STRATEGY: designing business strategies and managing all day-to-day operations to guarantee company efficiency.
• RESOURCES AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT supervising and leading the regional operations and employees.
• PROFIT AND LOSS MANAGEMENT being responsible for the profitability of the business.

The ideal profile is a strong leader with proven experience in business development, sales, and strategy close to the field, reactive, with a sense of service and results.
• You will need a strong experience in a leadership position (minimum 8 years) in a multi-disciplinary team.
• A previous experience in Engineering business is essential such as civil work, power, transportation, energy fields ideally in an international environment.
• You will demonstrate strong sales and customers drivers to develop business and generate a sustainable growth
• You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and a strong business acumen are important criteria for this role.

My profile

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business, business management, Engineering or other related fields is required with Min 18yrs +  of experience.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, SALES STRATEGY 
• Ensures both the development of business with current and new clients.
• Ensure identification new opportunities / offers to accompany sustainable growth and profitability.
• Liaise with specific technical leaders who will ensure the delivery.
• Strategic medium /long term planning of company activities in different sectors of operation. Expansion of existing business in geographical area and association with other professional organizations and joint ventures.
• Leading regular periodic P.R. visits to current and important clients of long association as a BD strategy.
• For large multidisciplinary projects where deployment of a dedicated team including teams comprising involvement of more than one Group with or without joint venture of associate companies, is required, creating special project teams including appointment of Team Leader and thereafter follow up on planning, progress etc.
RESOURCES AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT 
• Planning, distribution, allocation and reallocation of resources amongst various offices and groups under his control.
• Review of training needs of the staff identified by the Group Heads and following up on the planning and implementation of training programs. Responsible for HR activities for Region (Including Recruitment, Training and Staff Relations).
• Set up and assess by periodic review effectiveness of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of staff and issuing yearly Certificates.
• Maintaining Inter Region Relations.
PROFIT AND LOSS MANAGEMENT 
• Responsible for profitability of business and control of Income, Expenditure and profits. 
• Responsible for Time Management System Compliance
• Responsible for all legal and contractual commitments of Region
• Responsible to the HO for Performance of the Region
• Implementation of Quality System and review (with or without MR of QMS) of adherence to it by Office Head/Group Heads.
