Autolib'
Facilitating the creation of an electric car sharing system
Your challenge :
The joint commission Autolib’ gathers over 30 cities led by the city of Paris in order to set up an electric car sharing system that would operate in the whole Ile-de-France region. This project will have over 1,000 underground and elevated stations and about 3,000 vehicles.
Management assistance for this project consisted in providing an expertise that would help the joint commission to select a company that could take charge of the conception, the running and the maintenance of this service.
Our added value :
To address Autolib’s needs, Assystem partnered with Egis, an engineering firm specialised in infrastructures and mobility, the law firm Y.-R. Guillou for contractual matters and 6-T, a firm specialised in consumer behaviour for such services. Together, they were in charge of analysing the candidates’ offers, identifying what could be improved, and helping the joint commission deal with the technical negotiation and the selection of the winning candidate.
Assystem brought its technical expertise on electric vehicles (batteries recharging, fight against vandalism, maintainability and recyclability, ergonomics and user safety, interface between the operator and the users…) and on dealing with the information flow between the vehicles and their supervision system.
Autolib’ was launched in the fall of 2011, in compliance with the official schedule.
